To help maintain your oral health, we use the latest technology.
An intraoral camera is used so the patient can see what their dentist sees. A small probe is moved around the inside of the person’s mouth and the images are sent to a television screen. The patient can see what problems may be developing with their teeth and gums.
The results of digital x-rays are instantly sent to a computer. Staff have a better view of a patient’s teeth and there isn’t as much exposure radiation as in a traditional x-ray.
A panoramic x-ray produces a scan of the entire jaw in teeth in one take by using a machine that rotates around the head. It’s used for many things, including planning treatment for dental implants.
DIAGNOdent is a laser scanning system that is so precise it can scan an entire mouth for cavities and tooth decay in just a few minutes. It scans the teeth and then sends out an audio signal to a digital read out system. The dentist will then measure the fluorescence within teeth to see where cavities are developing.
Waterlase laser dentistry
This is a time efficient, painless procedure that is more precise than the traditional dental drills. Biolose Waterlase uses a laser and a small spray of water to perform certain procedures, such as removing tooth decay.
