CEREC Porcelain Inlays, Onlays, Crowns
Modern technology with old fashioned values
We are happy to offer our patients CEREC for their convenience. This advanced technology will make your dental treatments much less taxing on your time.
CEREC stands for CEramic REConstruction. It’s a dental restoration procedure where a cosmetic dentist uses adhesive bonding and computer technology to make the material needed for procedures like veneers and crowns faster. The procedure is done in one sitting, instead of having to schedule multiple visits.
Inlays are used when the cavity is too large. It is lab-created from an impression, allowing a superior line of contact, which prevents recurring decay. It is much more durable than a standard filling and is an excellent log term solution.
Similar to an Inlay, an Onlay is used to cover a cusp when it is damaged and needs to be replaced. They are used when a filling is not enough, but a crown is too much. They are often referred to as ‘partial crowns.’
